Search32 scans the Bulletin Index as provided by the NAWCC. However, before Search32 can use the Index, it must go through a "Load" process. The output of the "Load" process is named Index.dat, and is stored in the same directory as the Search32 program. This page allows you to download only the "loaded" most current index. You must already have the Search32 program to use this download.

It is possible to download it in one of two formats:

• COMPRESSED - In this format, the file is compressed in Zip format. You can download it and then uncompress it into the Search32 library. In Zip format, the file is about 1 meg in size. It should download in 15 minutes.
  
  
• UNCOMPRESSED - In this format, the file is ready to be placed in the Search32 library. However, it is much larger and so the download time will be more. Uncompressed, the file is about 4.5 megs. Surprisingly, the download time is not a whole lot more than the compressed time. This file should download in 20 to 30 minutes.
  
  The problem with this format is that some browsers want to load and display this file rathar than downloading it.
