The Animated Clock Cursor Pointer

This little animated pendulum clock is a great replacement for the hourglass cursor pointer that comes as a default with Windows 95.

To Install:
1. Download clock.ani by clicking on the hyperlink at the bottom of this page. Put it in the C:\WINDOWS\CURSORS directory. I have had some problem doing this with Netscape (it seems like it is trying to display it, but displays something like "RIFFÞ" instead). If you have that problem with Netscape, try placing the cursor over the DOWNLOAD NOW hyperlink, and do a right click; then select "Save Link As". I have not had a problem downloading it with Internet Explorer.

2. Double click on the "Mouse" icon in the Control Panel. Then select the "Pointers" tab from the Mouse Properties Window.

3. Double click on the "Busy" entry. This will bring up a dialog box showing the files in the Cursors directory (which is where you downloaded clock.ani). Select clock.ani by double clicking on it.

4. You should now be back at the "Pointers" tab on the Mouse Properties window. Click on "OK" to complete the install. If you should want to go back to the defaults, all you have to do is come back to this page and click the "Defaults" button.

5. This product was provided as freeware by "hunzy@southeast.net". If you like it, drop Hunzy an email telling him you like his animated clock cursor.
