JANUARY 18, 19, 25 and 26, 2003

This class was taught by Ron Van Ness. Assiting Ron was Phil Ball. In the class photo from left-to-right, we have: Robert Connell, Mike Coker (front row), Terry Carpenter, Pat Flanagan (front row), Tim Cronin, Ron Oorlog, Dave Barnes (front row), Dan Cole and Phil Ball (teaching partner).

Ron Oorlog is cutting a brass plug to be soldered in a spring barrel.
Mike Coker is using a belt sander to modify files for use in barrel tooth replacement.
Dave Barnes is shaping replacement barrel teeth.
Pat Flanagan uses the piercing saw to cut an opening in a spring barrel for the brass plug.

Whoops! Lucky for Bob Connell, the saw blades are not expensive.
