Class Photo

This class was taught by Jim and Bonita Spivey. Attending (from left to right) were Jim Spivey and Bonita Spivey (Instructors), Michael Gorman, Robin Gorman, Jim Summerville, Jean Peters, Garland Peters, Len Kaufman, Chuck Edwards and Bill Andrle. Not show were David Tips and Phil Gregory.

This course teaches a simple and inexpensive method to repair chips in clock case veneer or furniture. This method works well for small fingernail size chips up to 1 or 2 inch irregular blemishes. This workshop included information and demostrations regarding matching stains and finishes on repaired portions of furniture and clock cases, as well as cleaning and finish restoration.

Everyone was pleased with the quality of repairs that could be learned in so short a time and look forward to more projects. The time passed too quickly due to Jim and Bonita's easy style and expertise to give demonstrations to to solve problems.
